Snowboarder Mike Basich’s remote solar-powered cabin built of local rock and wood milled on-site in The Sierras near Donner Summit, California. In summer, can only be reached with a badass 4-wheel drive, going through creeks and over boulders and in winter by snow cat. Craftsmanship is meticulous. There’s a rock hot tub, with solar heated water.

Mike is known for once jumping put of a helicopter on his snowboard at 100’.
