Hempathane HS 55610 is a VOC-compliant, high-build polyurethane topcoat for protection of structural steel in corrosive environments. It may be specified as a one-coat direct-to-metal system in mild atmospheric environments and is available in a number of colors. Hempathane HS 55610 is a two-component polyurethane topcoat, cured with aliphatic isocyanate, with very good gloss and color retention; contains zinc phosphate. Typical systems according to ISO 12944-5:2007 C4, high durability (>15 years) as part of a three-coat system. Fast drying and glossy fabricator’s system, painting operations can be concluded within one working shift. The system provides optimum mechanical and anticorrosion protection in corrosive environments. C5-I/M, high durability (>15 years) as part of a four coat system. Highly resistant coating system for industrial and marine exposure, the system is especially recommended where the painting operation must proceed irrespective of the surrounding temperature.
