As the summer season comes to a close, don't miss out on some of the ongoing art and design exhibitions in New York City while they're still open! Bustler's latest list of NYC event picks include: “The Fourth Regional Plan” at the Center for Architecture; Yayoi Kusama's “Narcissus Garden” installation as part of MoMa PS1's “Rockaway!” series; the Museum of Art and Design's “La Frontera” exhibition exploring the cultural exchange that occurs at the U.S.-Mexico Border; and the upcoming interactive (and probably Instagrammable) “Room for Tea” exhibition.

Going beyond borders, oceans, and thinking of the continents as a continuous entity comes from this vision. Fifty years later, we face the existential threat of ecological disaster, and maybe revisiting the whole earth project seems like a way of recapturing that drive. This proposal looks at a network of towers that span across the oceans connecting the planet in a matrix that provides energy cleans the oceans and gives new chances for life to thrive. Fusion, Solar, and Hydro-power are used in this matrix with all of these being in high abundance in the ocean.
